Trackunit is rolling out new AI capabilities at the International Rental Exhibition 2026, aimed at helping construction and rental professionals better use fleet data.
The update centers on a new server that connects fleet data to common AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Microsoft Copilot. The integration allows users to query equipment, update records and set alerts using natural language.
The capabilities are part of Trackunit’s IrisX platform, which aggregates telematics data from connected equipment fleets. The company said the goal is to turn large volumes of machine data into more actionable insights for fleet managers and operators.
Additional updates include tools to monitor connectivity health, reusable workflow templates for tasks such as maintenance and reporting, and expanded data-sharing features for contractors and project partners.
