Kobelco has introduced the SK1300DLC-11, a high-reach excavator designed for large-scale demolition projects.
Powered by a 512-hp Isuzu Tier 4 Final engine, the machine offers multiple boom and arm configurations, including a 3-piece and 4-piece high-reach setup. It provides a maximum reach of 130 feet for work on tall structures.
The excavator has an operating weight of about 302,000 pounds but is designed for transport efficiency. It can be disassembled, with individual components kept under 39,800 pounds for easier movement between jobsites. It also includes features tailored for demolition, such as a water spray system, onboard lubrication, safety valves and a removable counterweight and track system. An ECO mode and power boost function are also included.
Operator-focused updates include a tilting cab with expanded visibility, ergonomic controls and integrated camera systems. Safety features include protective guards, stability monitoring and an emergency lowering system.
A 10-inch display provides machine data and controls, while additional cab features support operator comfort during extended use.
