Trimble has signed an agreement to acquire Document Crunch, expanding its capabilities in document analysis and risk management across the construction lifecycle. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The acquisition is intended to integrate AI-driven document intelligence and compliance tools into Trimble’s construction software platform, including project management and ERP systems.

Document Crunch’s technology is designed to identify contract risks, payment issues and compliance gaps. The platform has been used on more than 10,000 projects and serves general contractors, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.

Trimble said the addition will help automate contract review processes, reduce administrative workload and improve visibility into project obligations by embedding requirements directly into workflows.

The deal is expected to close in Q2 of 2026.
