Federal Highway Administration : How to Prevent Stockpile Segregation

The Ohio Aggregates & Industrial Minerals Association and FHWA jointly developed a training video on how to prevent stockpile segregation. The proper stockpile management and loading procedures are one of the most critical parts of the overall highway construction process. Improper loading and sampling are the most common causes of segregated materials and are also the most easily corrected. This film is available courtesy of FedFlix (public domain).
