Vermeer engineered its new S3 Series horizontal directional drills to reduce the noise they produce for easier communication on the job site, better relations with communities around sites and safer operating conditions. Sound measurement numbers (dBA) are tricky. Check out this Vermeer video to see if you agree that the volume difference is dramatic.
