Volvo Trucks has expanded its electric truck lineup with new models aimed at long-haul and heavy-duty applications.
The company introduced the FH Aero Electric, a long-distance truck with a range of up to 700 km on a single charge. The model uses a new e-axle design to increase battery capacity and supports megawatt charging, allowing faster recharge times.
Volvo also updated its FH, FM and FMX Electric trucks with a new driveline, offering ranges up to 470 km. The models are designed for a range of applications, including construction, regional transport and urban operations.
The trucks feature integrated power take-off capabilities to operate equipment such as mixers and hook lifts, along with improved drivability and reduced noise.
Volvo said the expanded lineup is intended to support broader adoption of electric trucks across more transport applications. The new models are expected to roll out starting in 2026.
