Thunder Creek Introduces Pickup Skids for Jobsite Fueling, Maintenance

Thunder Creek launches diesel and lube pickup skids to streamline fueling, DEF handling and preventative maintenance on construction jobsites.

Thunder Creek Equipment has introduced two pickup-mounted skid systems aimed at improving fueling and preventative maintenance workflows on construction jobsites: the Diesel Pickup Skid (DPS) and Lube Pickup Skid (LPS).

The new systems are designed to address ongoing challenges for contractors and fleet managers, including labor shortages, compliance requirements and equipment downtime. Fueling, diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) handling and routine maintenance often pull crews away from production. Equipment that does not require special licensing can expand who is able to perform these tasks in the field.

Both skids offer a total capacity of 230 gallons and are built for flexible deployment, with fork pockets and mounting options for pickup beds, flatbeds, trailers or stationary use.

Diesel Pickup Skid (DPS)
The DPS includes two 115-gallon diesel tanks and a 25-gallon DEF system. It is intended to support on-site fueling and DEF handling, giving crews more direct access to fuel and greater control over fueling schedules without additional licensing requirements.

Lube Pickup Skid (LPS)
The LPS is designed for field-based preventative maintenance, with capacity for up to four fluid systems using 55- or 115-gallon tanks. It can store oils, coolant, reclaim fluids and diesel for top-offs, allowing crews to perform routine maintenance on site and reduce delays tied to service logistics.

The DPS and LPS expand the company’s skid lineup, which also includes higher-capacity fuel and lube systems for larger operations.
