XCMG Machinery has introduced the XCS65K, the world’s first 65-tonne reach stacker built for large-scale energy storage projects.
As container weights approach 60 tonnes and stacking needs grow to four or more layers, traditional equipment often falls short. The XCS65K addresses these demands with a 65-tonne lift capacity and the ability to stack up to five layers.
Certified in China in April 2024, the machine includes features such as millimeter-level control, AI-driven anti-tip technology, 360-degree panoramic imaging and intelligent braking for safe operation in high-density environments.
Designed for extreme conditions, the reach stacker aims to improve logistics efficiency and safety in the growing energy storage sector.
