Jared Bilski joined IRONMARKETS in September 2026 as editor-in-chief of Asphalt Contractor and Pavement Maintenance & Reconstruction, bringing nearly 20 years of B2B and B2C publishing experience to the job. Prior to his current role, Jared worked as an assistant editor for PGA Magazine, a trade publication geared toward PGA club professionals and as editor-in-chief of a Outpatient Surgery Magazine, a magazine dedicated to leaders of outpatient surgery centers. He entered every position with little or no knowledge of the industry he was covering and learned by talking to as many experts in the field as humanely possible and truly listening to what they shared. This new role is no exception, and Jared looks forward to learning all about the asphalt and pavement industries in the most effective way possible: By spending hours and hours speaking with industry experts and hard-working, experienced professionals.
Outside of work, he spends his time in Collegeville, Pa., playing guitar badly and listening to his two children (10 and 9) tell him he doesn't know anything. Fun fact: He was once a witness in an armed robbery case.
