Skyjack has recently launched all-new articulating booms and scissor lifts that have been designed to meet true jobsite performance expectations and are an ideal choice for a wide range of indoor and outdoor construction, maintenance, and industrial applications. Skyjack’s quality engineered new machines maximize utilization, return on investment, and environmental performance.
Skyjack recently launched the new SJ45 AJN and SJ45 ARJN battery-powered electric slab booms. Featuring a working height starting at 50’ 11” (15.52 m), Skyjack’s compact, zero emission, low noise SJ45 AJN and SJ45 ARJN have been designed to offer superior performance across indoor and outdoor jobsites. With a platform capacity of 500 lbs (227 kg), a 4’ 8” (1.4 m) jib as standard, and a narrow width of 4’ 11” (1.5 m), the SJ45 AJN provides class-leading up-and-over access capability of 25’ 7” (7.8 m). This new slab boom offers outstanding onsite maneuverability and precision to work in confined spaces. The SJ45 ARJN represents one of the few machines in this class to offer a rotating jib, which provides 180° horizontal movement (ANSI) or 132° horizontal movement (CE) to allow precise positioning of the platform and increased productivity. These narrow machines are capable of access through double standard doors, offer a low stowed-height of 6’ 6” (1.98 m), and have a weight under 16,000 lbs (7,258 kg) that increases ease of transport.
The recently launched SJ3232 E electric drive scissor lift represents the newest model in Skyjack’s range of slab scissors. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, the narrow width, machine length of only 91.5” (2.32 m), 550 lb (249.48 kg) capacity, and low machine weight of just 5,850 lbs (2,654 kg), make the SJ3232 E ideal when both height and compact performance are needed. No stabilizers also mean the SJ3232 E is drivable at full height (working height is 37’ 7” or 11.46 m). These machines provide a clean, quiet, sustainable rental solution with zero emissions, low operating costs, and increased utilization.
The all-new SJ6940 RT rough terrain scissor lift has a working height of 46’ (14.02 m) and a platform capacity of 800 lbs (363 kg), setting a new benchmark as the tallest machine in Skyjack’s compact RT scissor class. Engineered with productivity and jobsite versatility in mind, the SJ6940 RT delivers the longest working area in the class with a platform that is 14’ 7” (4.45 m) in length with the roll-out deck extended. An oscillating front steer axle tackles tough jobsite terrain and auto-leveling outriggers (optional on ANSI/CSA models, standard on CE/AS models) maximize usability. An intelligent drive system switches between different torque modes based on machine grade and engine RPM for optimal jobsite performance. A self-centering scissor stack, a single lift cylinder, and optional turf tires round out the unique technologies offered on these rough terrain scissors.
The new SJ5545 E electric drive scissor lift represents the highest working height scissor in Skyjack’s range of slab scissors and includes innovative design features, high platform capacities, and a clean, quiet, sustainable rental solution. With a working height of 51’ (15.55 m) and a load capacity of 770 lbs (349.2 kg), this E-Drive model boasts exceptionally responsive control and maneuverability. The scissor stack design of the SJ5545 E features fully welded cross-bracing that increases rigidity and improves operator comfort at height. This scissor is drivable at full height, offers a 2-person wind-rating at 22’ (6.7 m), and provides the largest working areas in its class with a robust, all-steel, anti-slip platform. The modular rail system easily folds down to reduce stowed height for transportation and to pass through standard doorways. Low machine weight and non-marking tires optimize jobsite utilization, while an onboard digital diagnostic display allows operators to see real-time, simple language readouts.
- Rental companies and contractors can rely on the all-electric, zero-emission productivity of the new SJ45 AJE+ and SJ60 AJE+ and the hybrid-electric flexibility of the new SJ45 AJHE+ and the SJ60 AJHE+. Skyjack has designed these versatile new articulating booms to meet true jobsite performance expectations, whether its navigating various rough terrain conditions or delivering performance in emission-restricted sensitive indoor worksites. Our new articulating booms have been developed without compromising specification, features, or performance normally found on diesel machines and altered on battery-electric or hybrid-electric machines. Unlike some ranges, the Skyjack range has common specifications, parts, capacities, reach, and dimensions across all-electric, hybrid-electric, and diesel options, allowing rental companies to choose preferred power within a single machine.
