AED Women in Equipment Conference Draws Record Attendance in Chicago

Associated Equipment Distributors’ (AED) 2025 Women in Equipment Conference set a new record this year, drawing 131 attendees Sept. 17–19 in Chicago.

The annual event brought together professionals from dealerships, manufacturers and service providers to discuss leadership, workplace challenges and the role of allies in advancing women in the equipment industry.

Keynote speakers included research psychologist and professor Alison Fragale, who shared insights on influence and workplace dynamics, and Lisa Rottmann, president of Stowers Machinery Corp., who provided industry perspective and leadership experience.

The conference also featured networking and professional development sessions. AED said the event continues to provide a platform for women and allies across the equipment industry to connect and grow.

The 2026 Women in Equipment Conference is scheduled for Sept. 16–18 in Nashville, Tenn.
