Terex Trucks Provides Winter Protection Kits for Rigid Dump Trucks

Kits help avoid the need to keep engines idling in extreme sub-zero temperatures

Working with Webasto, Terex Trucks offers the Winter Kit to defend rigid haulers working for prolonged periods where temperatures fall to -13° F, and the Arctic Kit, which enables safe operation to -40° F.

  • Keep fluids warm and prevent fatigue failures in the drivetrain and seal leaks
  • Webasto-supplied, truck-mounted Thermo-Heater engine-independent heater keeps the machine at a pre-determined warmer temperature for hours after the engine is switched off
  • Supports the standard cab heater for a warmer environment
  • Available on the TR45, TR60, TR70 and the 91-tonne-capacity TR100 and can be retrofit on older machines
