New Long-Carriage Excavator from Case Construction Equipment

Case Construction Equipment

RACINE, WI - Case Construction Equipment announces the addition of the CX130B LC (long-carriage) excavator to the Case CX B Series lineup. A longer-carriage excavator provides the benefits of increased stability, reduced ground pressure and increased lift capacity. The CX130B LC track length is increased by nearly a foot, to 12 feet 4 inches.

Heavy lifting capacity
With an operating weight of 28,400 pounds (12,882 kg), the CX130B LC can handle heavy digging and lifting applications in any environment - from residential to commercial construction. With the longer track, ground engagement lift capacities over the end are increased.

"The lift capacity of the long-carriage version is 15-percent greater than the CX130B," says Mitchell Blake, Case brand marketing manager. "That, combined with the faster cycle times from efficient hydraulic horsepower, boosts productivity and efficiency on the most demanding job site."

Greater fuel efficiency and comfort
The clean-burning, electronically controlled Tier 3-certified 3.0L engine delivers 95 net horsepower. The full, electronic controlled common rail fuel injection and hydraulic system increases fuel efficiency and reduces operating costs. The CX130B's reduced noise levels increase operator comfort, too. Even at full throttle, the excavator is among the quietest in the industry. Reinforced tubular structures reduce vibration and support the ultra-low 68.5 dBa in the cab.

Easy maintenance boosts uptime
The Case CX130B LC excavator features a green plug - an oil pan plug with a built-in check valve that allows used engine oil to run through a tube and be easily reclaimed by a technician. This provides an easier, cleaner and greener engine oil change. Flip-open service panels provide easy access to virtually all key components.
