Volvo Construction Equipment acquired the road machinery business from Ingersoll Rand in April of 2007, and by agreement, the equipment was not required to appear in new Volvo colors until the end of April, 2008. But, by the end of 2007, Volvo road machinery began coming off the production line around the world in the famous Volvo yellow and grey and carrying the world-renowned Volvo brand. And it will occupy a major role in the company's exhibition and product presentation in Las Vegas at CONEXPO 2008.

The official unveiling of the new-look product range will take place at the Volvo Construction Equipment ConExpo exhibit - North Hall 2509 - on Tuesday, March 11, at 9:30a.m. Volvo Road Machinery president, Pat Olney, will host the unveiling.

Machines modelling the new look at the show will be the single drum Volvo SD116D compactor, the double drum Volvo 138HF asphalt compactor, the single drum Volvo SD-25 soil compactor, the Volvo PF6170 and Volvo PF6110 asphalt pavers, and the Volvo MW500 milling machine.
